And so it begins...

Getting prepped for the first series of images... this is the fun part, picking out and playing with pretty things.

What it's all about...

Light hearted – where creativity shines from within.

Light hearted is all about finding joy… 

Finding joy in nature, in the beautiful little moments around you.

Finding joy in your work, with a little bit of motivation and inspiration.

Finding joy in your life, appreciating the world around you and taking time to “smell the proteas”… 

(they might not smell as sweet as roses, but their beauty lies elsewhere, and it’s up to us to find it and appreciate it…)

Just like us, flowers each have their own unique strengths and my joy is finding that uniqueness and capturing it with my camera.

Whether it is the unlovely loveliness of a cactus, the soft sweetness of a rose, the bold brashness of a strelitzia, or the perfect patterns of a pincushion protea… I find my joy in taking the time to notice these little bits of beauty.
